Dr Wisam Sarsam is a specialist endodontist registered on the General Dental Council specialist list who is able to accept all types of root canal cases, from simple to complex.

He is the dentist other dentists refer to where a higher degree of expertise is sought, when the root canal of the tooth is infected.

Graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2011, after working a number of years in general practice he went on, in 2015 to pursue his interest in endodontics. Since then, he has worked as a Registrar and a Clinical Lecturer in endodontics at Liverpool Dental Hospital. He also enjoys the management of anxious patients and is able to provide root canal treatment under sedation. When your tooth has an infection, which may manifest as pain or swelling, you will always be offered and explained the benefits of having a root canal treatment with our specialist endodontist Dr Wisam Sarsam. Your normal dentist will then undergo the final restoration of the tooth, once the root canal is completed.

Currently, Wisam provides endodontics in and around London and is undertaking a Doctorate degree investigating the molecular mechanisms linking diabetes to endodontic infection.

Arwa is our periodontics specialist at Hayes Dental Specialists. When she is not at our practice, she teaches Periodontology to undergraduate students at Guys Hospital. She frequently attends national and international clinical meetings and conferences so the treatments she provides are informed by the latest technological and clinical advances in the field pf periodontology.

Arwa provides a comprehensive range of non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatments, including open flap debridement, pocket reduction surgery, periodontal regeneration, crown lengthening and mucogingival periodontal plastic surgery. Other treatment includes the management of peri-implantitis.

Dr Guilherme M. Xavier, completed a postgraduate diploma in Orthodontics and an MSc in Pharmacology, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the same institution. In 2007 he started his PhD at King's College London, sponsored by two prestigious awards (ALBAN and ORSAS). In 2013, he was appointed as an Academic Clinical Lecturer and honorary specialist registrar in Orthodontics at King's College London; splitting his time between research and further clinical training in Orthodontics.

His research led to several scientific publications in peer reviewed journals and his findings have been presented both abroad and throughout the UK. He qualified with a Distinction in his Master of Science in Orthodontics from King's College London and was awarded the Professor Philip Walther Prize for the most outstanding performance. He also attained the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) with The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Dr Xavier also actively pursues a significant role in academic teaching and is dedicated to bringing state of the art orthodontics to Hayes Dental exclusively. Guilherme prides himself in the quality of his clinical care and continuing education. He is an expert in fixed and removable orthodontics, with an attention to detail.

Kunal is from Bromley and was schooled locally. He graduated from the University of Manchester in 2010, after which he completed a year as a Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery at the world renowned Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. In 2012, Kunal moved to the sunnier shores of Sydney in Australia, where he gained experience in providing high quality private dentistry for 5 years before moving back to Bromley, where he is now permanently based.

Kunal has since completed a Master’s Degree in Implant Dentistry, which has been invaluable in offering patients natural looking and feeling replacements for badly broken or missing teeth. He also enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and believes that prevention is always better than cure. Kunal has furthered his knowledge in all forms of aesthetic dentistry, including the completion of Invisalign and Facial Aesthetics courses.

In his spare time, Kunal enjoys cooking, theatre, cricket and travelling with his wife, who is also a dentist.

Dr Ravi Desai is a prize winning dentist who graduated with honours from the University of Manchester. Having successfully completed Foundation Training in south London he went on to pass dental faculty examinations of the Royal College of Surgeons England.

He is keen to provide high quality general dentistry with a special interest in minimally invasive treatments to provide smile makeovers. As a certified Invisalign provider he enjoys helping patients transform their smiles. He believes in continuous development to ensure his patients receive the utmost standard of care and has completed a 4-day residency in Milan with the respected Style Italiano Group.

He has expanded his skill set with training in facial aesthetics from the award winning Avanti Aesthetics Academy based on Harley Street. He undertakes full facial consultations for aesthetic treatments with botulinum toxin and dermal fillers including lips and cheeks.

In his spare time Ravi is a keen squash player and enjoys keeping fit in the gym. He loves travelling and has spent time providing voluntary dental work abroad at Todos Juntos Children's Trust in South America.

Vinesh started off his dental career in 2008 as a senior house officer at Guys Hospital in Restorative dentistry and Oral Surgery. Due to him excelling he followed this with a clinical teacher post in Oral Surgery and Acute Dental Care at Kings College London & Guys Dental Hospital, supervising final year students and providing one-to-one feedback.

Since then Vinesh has focused on cosmetic dentistry, especially in minimally invasive treatments which take the patient’s comfort into consideration. He has extensive knowledge and experience when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. Whether it is white fillings, dental bleaching techniques, crowns or veneers.

Vinesh is currently advancing in cosmetic dentistry by studying for an Aesthetics MSc at Kings College London and “Monik Vasant’s Aesthetic Diploma” course, making sure his patients achieve the smile that they want.

As a certified Invisalign provider, he is currently undertaking a Diploma in Clear Aligners to allow him to provide Invisalign to a higher level of expertise.

Vinesh gains most satisfaction from getting to know his patients well and helping them to achieve and maintain a healthy mouth and smile. He likes to explain everything from an evidence based perspective and ensures you are kept fully informed about your oral health and treatment options to provide a bespoke service tailored to the specific individual. Outside the practice, Vinesh enjoys traveling on both active and cultural holidays, keeping fit and spending time with his family. He’s a dedicated foodie too and loves finding out new cuisines to sink his teeth into.

After achieving his Bachelor of Dental Surgery, Dr Karouni obtained several advanced degrees in Implantology and Prosthodontics from Paris 7 University.

During the last twelve years he has user his scientific knowledge and clinical skills in many dental practices in Beirut, Paris and London.

Michel provides expertise in most surgical dental procedures including implant placements with immediate loading protocols, from simple cases up to full mouth rehabilitation like "All-on 4" and "All-on 6" techniques. He is dedicated to providing the latest technologies for his patients such as PRP and guided implant placement.

In addition, Michel also performs surgical dental procedures such as surgical extractions, removal of impacted wisdom teeth, periodontal surgical procedures, crown lengthening treatment for gummy smiles, dental implant installations with necessary prior bone grafts, sinus lifts, and prosthodontic treatments on implants and teeth.

Alongside his clinical activity, Michel was a teacher for both undergraduate and postgraduate students in Saint-Joseph University dental school. He is also active in scientific research and has co-authored several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Additionally, he participated for almost 6 years as an instructor in the “Training institute for advanced implant surgery in Paris”.
