Dr Sarsam is a GDC Certified Specialist Endodontist and has been working at Hayes Dental Surgery since 2018.

Dr Sarsam is also a Senior Clinical Lecturer on the Post Graduate Endodontic Program at Queen Mary University of London, training qualified dentist to become specialist in Endodontics.

He is also an examiner for the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Speciality Endodontic Examinations).

During the consultation Dr Sarsam will take a thorough history of your symptoms. He will carry out a detailed clinical examination focused on the area of concern. A 3D CBCT scan may also be offered at this staged stage which reveals a greater level of detail regarding the size of infection, and the anatomy of the tooth in three-dimensions, to assist with diagnosis, prognosis and treatment approach. He will also discuss alternative treatment options to help you make an informed decision about your choice of treatment.

It is normal to be anxious about having root canal treatment and Dr Sarsam takes as much care as possible to ensure patients are comfortable throughout the procedure and the recovery period. He also works with a sedation dentist which can be arranged for highly anxious patients, or GAG reflex. The root canal procedure is carried out under a Dental Microscope which can magnify the tooth up to 24 times to help locate and treat hidden canals.

The treatment is carried out using single use super flexile Nickel-Titanium files to go round curved roots. Once the root canal is completed, a core (permanent filling) is placed to seal the tooth. Following completion of the root canal treatment, a crown is often required to protect the tooth long term. For referred patients, you be advised to have this procedure with your regular dentist.

Arwa is our periodontics specialist at Hayes Dental Specialists. When she is not at our practice, she teaches Periodontology to undergraduate students at Guys Hospital. She frequently attends national and international clinical meetings and conferences so the treatments she provides are informed by the latest technological and clinical advances in the field pf periodontology.

Arwa provides a comprehensive range of non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatments, including open flap debridement, pocket reduction surgery, periodontal regeneration, crown lengthening and mucogingival periodontal plastic surgery. Other treatment includes the management of peri-implantitis.

Dr Leena Shibl is a Specialist Orthodontist with a Master's degree in Orthodontics.

After graduating with top honours in Cairo, Egypt, she has worked in private practice, the NHS, and hospital settings, treating a wide variety of orthodontic cases.

Leena believes that every smile is unique and takes the time to understand each patient's goals before creating a tailored treatment plan. She aims to make every appointment a positive experience, ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable, and involved throughout their orthodontic journey.

She has a particular interest in early orthodontic treatment, helping to guide jaw growth and dental development at the appropriate stage to reduce the need for more complex treatment later in life. She also enjoys treating adult patients, supporting them in improving their oral health and smile at any age.

Using modern digital technology, including intraoral scanners and 3D treatment planning, Leena provides care while allowing patients to visualise their treatment throughout the process.

Alongside her clinical work, Leena has contributed to published orthodontic research and remains committed to continuing professional development, ensuring her patients benefit from current evidence and advances in orthodontics.

Outside the clinic, Leena enjoys travelling and exploring the underwater world through scuba diving. She also loves discovering new places, spending time with family and friends, and embracing new experiences.

Kunal is an implant dentist with a heart for creating healthy smiles. With a Master’s Degree in Implant Dentistry, Kunal has been transforming smiles by replacing badly broken or missing teeth. His commitment to excellence is evident in his continuous learning about the latest techniques in bone grafting and gum contouring, ensuring that implants look and feel as natural as possible. Kunal is a proud member of the British Dental Association and the International Team of Implantology. This connects him to a global network of leading implantologists, keeping him at the forefront of the field.

Kunal is proficient in replacing single or multiple teeth. He is currently pursuing advanced certifications in Bone and Tissue Regeneration, Sinus Grafting, and Full Mouth Oral Implant Rehabilitation, building upon his Master's Degree. This specialized training equips him to handle the most challenging cases, even for patients who have been told by their own dentists that implants are not possible due to a lack of bone.

His passion for surgery stemmed from his time serving as a Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery at the world-renowned Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. There, he performed many complex tooth extractions, including wisdom teeth procedures. Furthermore, he assisted in jaw alignment surgery and cancer operations. This often involved helping to place implants for patients who had lost teeth due to their cancer.

Kunal is also a certified Invisalign Full provider and thrives on the challenge of correcting complex alignment issues, complementing his work as an implant surgeon. This dual expertise allows him to create beautifully straight and symmetrical smiles, free of missing teeth. His ability to optimize the shape and size of gaps before implant placement distinguishes him from many implant surgeons, leading to superior functional and aesthetic outcomes.

Kunal’s approach to dentistry is comprehensive and patient-focused. He excels in all aspects of general and aesthetic dentistry, driven by the belief that prevention is better than cure. His holistic, kind, and gentle approach ensures that patients feel comfortable and at ease, no matter their dental concern.

Kunal is from Bromley and was schooled locally. In 2012, he expanded his horizons to sunny Sydney, Australia, where he delivered high-quality private dentistry for five years before returning to his roots in Bromley. Outside the clinic, Kunal is a cricket enthusiast and an avid cook. His home life is vibrant, with his wife and two young children keeping him very busy.

Vinesh has been a qualified dentist for over 15 years and is one of our longest serving dentists here at Hayes, having built up a large following of patients. He has acquired over 10 years experience in private practice dentistry and has numerous hours of courses and post graduate qualifications.

Vinesh has focused on cosmetic and general dentistry, especially in minimally invasive treatments which take the patient’s comfort into consideration. He has extensive knowledge and experience when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. Whether it is white fillings, dental bleaching techniques, crowns or veneers. Vinesh has an Aesthetics Diploma at Kings College London and Aesthetics certificates at a well renown UK academy, making sure his patients receive the best up to date treatment.

He has completed two separate postgraduate certificates in Dental Implants at accredited UK institutions allowing him to provide a full array of treatment options to his patients, including bone and soft tissue grafting. This allows him to replace missing teeth from start to finish with high success rates.

As a certified Invisalign provider, he has gone above what is required and completed a 2 year Diploma in Clear Aligners to allow him to provide Invisalign to a higher level of expertise than most practitioners and has improved the smiles of a number of patients successfully here at Hayes Dental Specialists.

He has also held teaching positions at the well renown Guys Dental Hospital and Kings College London and was fast tracked into this positions early on his career due to his exemplary skills.

Vinesh gains most satisfaction from getting to know his patients well and helping them to achieve and maintain a healthy mouth and smile. He likes to explain everything from an evidence based perspective and ensures you are kept fully informed about your oral health and treatment options to provide a bespoke service tailored to the specific individual. He welcomes seeing nervous patients and will be able to provide the time and care to make you feel much more relaxed at your visits and turn you in to a regular attender with a healthier and trouble free mouth.

Vinesh regularly keeps up to date with the latest techniques by continually attending courses. He makes sure that he always delivers the best service, offering a high standard of care that provides long lasting aesthetic and functional treatments.

Outside the practice, Vinesh enjoys traveling on both active and cultural holidays, keeping fit and spending time with his family. He’s a dedicated foodie too and loves finding out new cuisines to sink his teeth into!

Dr Nastova is a dentist with over 15 years’ clinical experience and a special interest in oral surgery.

She also works in a hospital role as a Specialty Doctor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, with extensive experience gained across UK hospital settings.

Dr Nastova accepts referrals for a wide range of oral surgery procedures, including simple and surgical extractions, surgical removal and coronectomy of impacted wisdom teeth, management of failed extractions, orthodontic extractions, expose and bond procedures, labial and lingual frenectomies, and closure of oro antral communications (OAC). She also accepts selected patients with complex medical histories, including those taking bisphosphonates, subject to clinical triage.

Treatment is provided under local anaesthetic or IV sedation, with access to CBCT imaging where clinically indicated.

Dr Nastova aims to take a calm and reassuring approach to patient care and aims to provide safe and appropriate surgical treatment tailored to each patient’s needs.

Dr Ravi Desai graduated with Honours from the University of Manchester in 2017 and was awarded the Edgar Houghton Operative Dentistry Prize. He is a dentist with a particular interest in smile makeovers, Invisalign®, composite bonding, porcelain veneers and restorative dentistry.

He has completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry and continues to undertake further training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

As part of the multidisciplinary team at Hayes Dental Specialists, Ravi works closely with specialist colleagues to deliver comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs.

He aims to preserve the natural tooth structure wherever possible, combining digital techniques with careful treatment planning to achieve natural-looking results.

Known for his calm and friendly manner, Ravi aims to help patients feel comfortable, informed and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Award-winning dentist Dr Nalin Karunaratne boasts over a decade’s experience in general dental practice. A postgraduate diploma in implant prosthodontics and postgraduate certificate in restorative dentistry are just some of his battery of qualifications as he frequently attends courses to always offer his patients the latest precision.

Also an implant surgeon, Nalin is passionate about offering facial aesthetics, such as anti-wrinkle treatments (dermal and lip filler) and medical microneedling.
